Meg Morrissey
Meg Morrissey grew up dancing at the Georgia Dance Conservatory in her hometown of Marietta, Georgia. She trained with GDC and performed as a company member of the Ruth Mitchell Dance Theatre for fifteen devoted years. Meg then went on to continue her study of ballet, contemporary, jazz, and modern dance at Northwestern University, graduating in June of 2012 with a B.A. in Dance and a B.A. in International Studies.
Along with teaching classes and workshops around the greater Atlanta area, Meg has been a company member of Sideways Contemporary Dance Company, Graffiti Dancers, and Fuerta Dance Company. Her choreographic work has been featured by the New Movement Project, Atlanta's Dance Canvas in 2014 and 2016, and MIXTAPE. Meg is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Fuerta Dance Company, as well as the owner and Director of Druid Hills Dance Center.
Audrey Crabtree
Audrey Crabtree holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts degree in Dance Performance from Oklahoma City University. Her performance work includes the theme park stages of Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Six Flags Magic Mountain dancing at Howl-O-Scream, Christmastown, Looney Tunes Kids Club, Fright Fest, and Holiday in the Park. Living in Los Angeles, Audrey performed with the Speak Hill Dance Project, City Ballet of Los Angeles, Amaterasu Dance Company, LA Unbound, and J Sutta. Moving back to Atlanta, Audrey worked with Watershed Dance Theatre & Esthete Collective, performing three seasons with ALA Dance and six seasons with Sideways Contemporary Dance Company. A dance educator and mother of two, Audrey is a current company member with Monica Hogan Danceworks (since 2021) and Fuerta Dance Company (since 2016). Audrey’s first Fuerta project was the dance film collection "en la mente" in the titles Id, Choice, & Detach. Her appearances with Fuerta continued through a decade of festivals, showcases, and mainstage concerts. Audrey is honored to present Monster in 2026 and celebrate 10 years with the company.
Abi Grassler
Abi Grassler explores movement as a dancer, teacher, and scientist. She graduated from Emory University in 2019 with a double-major in dance and neuroscience. At Emory, Abi trained primarily in contemporary-modern and had the opportunity to perform for Greg Catallier, Kendra Portier, and Sally Raddell, as well as student choreographers during her time in the program. As a senior, Abi was awarded the dance department’s Vail Scholarship. Abi has performed for independent choreographers Jacquelyn Pritz, Catherine Messina, Jenn Klammer, and performed with Gwinnett Dance Project for two seasons. As part of the Fall for Fall Guest Artists Series, Abi also worked with New York-based artists Dahyun Kim and Lucia Tozzi. Abi is currently pursuing a PhD in neuroscience, studying how we can produce infinite movement with a finite body.
Kia J. Street
Kia J. Street began dancing at the age of three at Norma’s Academy of Dance and continued her training at Dance with Donna Webb. She decided to pursue a dance career while attending Fine Arts Magnet at Mount Zion High School, now named Martha Ellen Stilwell School of the Arts in Jonesboro, GA. Kia graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in 2015. While attending VSU she performed at the annual dance concerts, American College Dance Association, and during halftime with the marching band as a Blazette. She has choreographed for high school dance lines, the Emerging Artist Showcase at VSU, Modco Dance Company, and for Dancefx adult company members. Professionally, she has performed with Sideways Contemporary Dance Company and Modco Dance Company. Currently, she performs with Fuerta Dance Company, in festivals around Atlanta, and is the Studio Director of Metro Atlanta Dance.
Jenn Klammer
Jenn Klammer is a Miami native artist, educator, and choreographer. She holds her BFA in Dance from the University of Florida, with an emphasis on education and post-modern dance. She grew up training at Dance Creations Dance Academy and then Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, while also attending Miami Arts Charter performing arts school. In 2014, she received a full scholarship to the Bates Dance Festival. In 2017, Jenn received a scholarship to study at the Florence Dance Center in Florence, Italy. In 2019, she relocated to Atlanta, GA. She has had the opportunity to perform for many artists including Yoshito Sakuraba, Erik Thurmond (with Pandemia), and Nadya Zeitlin, while also had performed in Excuse the Art and The Atlanta Fringe Festival. Jenn has presented her work with the Gwinnett Dance Project and the Fuerta Dance Company, along with collaborating with other artists such as Jacob Lavoie, Walter Apps, and Kathryn Gutierrez. She is currently a company member with ALA Dance and Fuerta Dance Company. Jenn is faculty at Druid Hills Dance Centre, and works closely with the Theatre/Apprentice Company and Pre-Professional Division. In her free time you can catch her with her three cats, Pepperoni, Prosciutto, and Pesto, or at a show moshing and two-stepping. Jenn cherishes the idea that all the tiny parts of ourselves make us the unique people we are, and implements that in her creative works, but also how we merely participate in our daily lives.
Lauren Michelle
Lauren Michelle is a freelance movement artist, educator, and choreographer. Now in her 4th season with Fuerta, she is thrilled to return to the stage for the 10th anniversary season.
She has performed in soloist and ensemble roles throughout the U.S. with Fuerta Dance Company, Chicago Repertory Ballet, Portland Opera, and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. Performances at local festivals such as RADFest (Midwest) and Modern Atlanta Dance Festival included featured roles.
Lauren is a graduate of Point Park University. She had the privilege of working closely with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, NW Dance Project, Shen Wei Dance Arts, and Houston Contemporary Dance Company.
Outside of performing, you can find her embracing her love of movement through teaching adult classes at Dance 101 and leading breathwork retreats for her wellness company, Soma + Sui. Additional recent creative projects include choreographing and producing a dance film, debuting late June 2026.
Olivia Rowe
Olivia Rowe is a professional dancer, choreographer, educator, and stage manager. She holds a Masters of Arts in Dance with a concentration in Education from California State Long Beach and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Kennesaw State University. Olivia is a current company member with Fuerta Dance Company, and has been performing with the troupe since 2019. Additional professional performance endeavors include companies City Gate Dance Theater, Ballet Southeast, and Gotta Dance Contemporary (now Admix Project), where she has performed both classical and contemporary works. In high school, Olivia trained at Atlanta Academy of Ballet as a professional trainee, as well as Balletmet Columbus and Nashville Ballet.
Claire Korfas
Claire Korfas is a Georgia native and grew up dancing with the Atlanta Jazz Theatre, training and competing in various styles. She then went on to study dance at the University of Georgia. While there, she was a member of CORE contemporary and Ariel Dance, UGA Dance Company, and was president of the Young Choreographers Series. She received her BFA in dance and her BS in Human Development and Family Science. She then went on to receive her masters degree in special education from Arizona State University. She currently works as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, where she designs and implements treatment plans for children with developmental disabilities. In addition to this, she dances locally, teaches dance, and is a working choreographer in the Atlanta area. Claire is so excited to be back on stage with Fuerta for another season.
Leah Kelly
Over the past decade, Leah Kelly has been an active Atlanta-based collaborator, teacher, choreographer, and performer. Last year she performed with Stokes MVMNT in their premier performance Tête-à-tête. Leah has been a longtime collaborator of the company’s founder, Sarah Stokes and the two have been working together since 2018. Leah also proudly rejoined ALA Dance at the White Wave Dance Festival 2025. 1221, a duet created by founder Atarius Armstrong, had its NYC debut last February. Finally, Leah finished the season performing in Meg Gourlery’s thesis performance, In Light of These Regrets.
Leah is excited to be joining Fuerta Dance Company for their 10th year anniversary production, MONSTER. Since 2016 Leah has worked with the company. A few of her most memorable pieces include a dance film entitled ID and the 2024 company production of Sole, where she performed work by founder Margret Morrissey and company member Audrey Crabtree. Leah is grateful to be celebrating 10 years with Fuerta Dance and is honored to continue sharing her passion for dance with such an inspiring community.
Grace Andersen
Grace Andersen was born in the Chicagoland area, where she began her dance training with Emergence Dance Theatre under the direction of Sandra Schramel. She continued her studies at The University of Iowa where she earned her B.A. in Dance, learning from esteemed artists such as George de La Pẽna, Eloy Barragan, and Christopher Rasheem Macmillan.
From there, she went on to spend 3 seasons with Styx the Company, a contemporary dance company based in Miami Florida where she had the privilege of performing original works by Brianna Campbell, Mika Santo, Holly Ryder, among others. She’s also had the pleasure of performing work by Crystal Wellman with Unbound Ballet Project of Charleston South Carolina.
Grace has been thrilled to join the cast of Fuerta and diving into the development of Monster.
Caroline Grimaldi
Caroline Grimaldi is a native of Covington, Georgia and attended Covington Regional Ballet from age three until her graduation in 2019. Under the direction of Ashley and Peter Swan, she performed in many works including The Nutcracker, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Beauty and the Beast, and The Presence of Absence. She is currently based in the Atlanta area.
After her graduation, Caroline attended the University of Georgia, earning a BS in Human Development and Family Sciences. During her time at UGA, she was a member of the Georgia Club Dance Team, where she assisted in choreographing contemporary and modern dances for the end of year showcase.
Caroline continues to share her love of dance with students at Covington Regional Ballet as a dance educator and rehearsal director. She has previously been a freelance dancer, performing with Fall for Fall Dance Festival, Metayer Dance Theater’s A Christmas Fairytale, and Kit Modus as a summer intensive participant. Currently, she is in her first season with the Fuerta Dance Company and is thrilled to be dancing with them.
