The Fuerta Dance Company is offering the opportunity to student dancers (ages 12 - 18) to gain professional performance experience with our new student company. We are teaching a week long intensive at the Druid Hills Dance Center in Decatur. Students will take classes in ballet, jazz, modern, and contemporary dance from Fuerta's professional company members. Students will be challenged with intense technique training and choreography for a week of growth in athleticism and artistry. The week will culminate in a performance of choreography excerpts and an audition for the Fuerta student company, Fuerta II.

Fuerta II dancers will go on to attend a weekly rehearsal working with a Fuerta choreographer and get to perform the work in Fuerta's Spring 2018 showcase alongside Fuerta's professional work. This is a wonderful opportunity for student dancers interested in pursuing a career as a professional dancer or interested in more involvement with performing to gain experience for college resumes and dance programs.

The Fuerta Summer Intensive is July 24 - 28 from 10:00AM - 2:00PM. Camp tuition is $300 for the week of classes.
